ABOUT OUR RATES
Our Daily Rates do not include taxes or other fees, but they do include a light daily housekeeping (for details see below).
Our Weekly Rates also do not include taxes or other fees, or the departure-cleaning fee. These Weekly Rates are based on the Vacation Rental model of leasing – as if you were renting a privately owned condominium or home (which, basically, you are). To keep our rates as low as possible, the Weekly Rates do not include daily housekeeping services. We furnish the apartment with basic supplies to get you started, and then, for the duration of your stay, you use it as if it were your own. Most of our guests prefer this arrangement and appreciate the savings. However, for your comfort and convenience, optional housekeeping services are available by request – please ask for details when you book your reservation.

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
Our Daily Rates include a daily tidy-up housekeeping service. This consists of making beds, vacuuming and mopping floors, providing clean towels and refurbishing the amenities (such as bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper etc.). Guests with Weekly Rentals may request daily housekeeping services for an extra charge.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Our Check-In Time is 4:00 PM. If you anticipate arriving after 6:00 PM, please call our office to make arrangements. Our Check-Out Time is 11 AM. We ask you to please observe our Check-In and Check-Out Times so we can prepare the Units properly and avoid delays for our incoming guests. To make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible, we provide a changing room and free beach towels for you to use if you arrive before the Check-In Time or wish to stay beyond the 11:00 AM departure. Just ask for assistance at the Front Desk.
PETS
Designated Units are available for pets, provided your pet will not disturb your neighbors. There is a limit of two pets per Unit, with a 35-pound weight limit per pet. Additional fees and taxes apply. Please call us for details and to make your reservation.
FISHING DOCK
Tradewinds has a fishing pier on Sarasota Bay. Please enjoy it – and leave it as clean as you found it. As the area is a protected habitat zone for manatees, it cannot be dredged or otherwise disturbed. For this reason, we regret that no boats are allowed.
OTHER INFORMATION
All our Units are fully furnished in an elegant, yet relaxed, tropical style, and include linens and kitchen cutlery, glassware, china, pots and pans and other kitchen utensils – all the basics you’ll need to prepare your meals. There’s a good Publix Supermarket on the Island just five minutes away, with fresh produce, meat and fish, as well as good cheeses, take-out items, and a decent choice of wines. There are also a few convenience stores and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. If you like, ditch the gas-guzzler and take the free Island Trolley, which runs from one end of the Island to the other at 20-minute intervals between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM.
